But it has been almost a year since my last recordings. Although I haven't recorded any music lately, I have been active with piano lessons and going fairly often to jazz clubs. In the past year, among many others, I have seen Freddy Cole, René Marie, Evan Christopher, Glenn Zaleski (a piano teacher I had the pleasure to study with), Ahud Asherie, Wycliff Gordon, Vinnie Sperrazza, Mike McGinnis, Jacob Sacks, Elias Bailey (who plays with Freddy and René), James Newman, Dave Ambrosio, Janet Segal and Barry Harris. Tomorrow I am treating myself (with James Newman, who shares my birthday--1/28) to Birdland to see Catherine Russell! Jambalaya and a Brooklyn Lager! New York, I love you!
